i was going to just start a new war but i have many things custimized to her along with 4 elite armor sets q9 mursat q9 chaos axe and more. now if i was to buy the name change from the store would my items that were customized to the other name be able to be used with the same char just the new name?

Yes, you can do that.

Items are customized to the character, not the name of the character.

Ill try to explain this from a standpoint of a general MMO database....

Items customized to a character are customized to the underlying character ID which never changes in the GW database, the name who it is customized to stays that was on the item's extra properties in the database entries and probably could be manually changed, but not automatically so it dosen't change obviously, and you know it never will get changed because anet wont spend time to go in and change it for someone. But it dosent matter because the item will always work with you character. This is also why you can't customize something and then remake a character and use it because the ID you don't see dosen't match.

To answer your question simply though.. yes, you can still use the items.
